Colina Park

Thanks to a $1.5 million renovation in 2003, Colina Park is among Southern California’s top short-game courses. Colina Park offers a formidable course where beginners can learn and seasoned players can perfect their game.

Through the generous support of the State of California Park & Recreation Department, the City and County of San Diego, the USGA, the Nike Foundation, the Toro Foundation, and individual donors, golfers of every level can enjoy challenging golf at affordable rates in the heart of City Heights. All 18 holes can be played in under three hours.

The Colina Park Golf Course is operated by Pro Kids Golf Academy, Inc. Pro Kids is a 501(c) (3), not-for-profit organization with a mission to positively impact the lives of inner-city youth by providing programs that promote education, character development, life-skills, and values through the game of golf.

Since 1994, Pro Kids has provided free golf and life-skills lessons to more than 11,000 kids ages seven to 17. Through a partnership with the San Diego Unified School District, Pro Kids transports students to Colina Park for a series of eight golf and life-skills classes as part of their normal physical education period.
